EVEN PROPHET NUH WAS RIDICULED

(A story of endurance, loneliness, and unshakeable faith)

Standing Firm When Everyone Mocked Him

Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) spent 950 years calling his people to Allah.
But instead of listening, they laughed at him, dismissed him, and mocked every warning he gave.
When Allah commanded him to build the Ark, they ridiculed him even more — laughing at the idea of a ship rising on dry land.

Imagine the emotional weight of being rejected by your entire community… generation after generation.
Yet Nuh never stopped. He stayed patient, focused, and faithful, even when the world made him feel alone.

His story shows that being mocked or misunderstood doesn’t mean you’re wrong; sometimes it means you’re standing for something greater.

Key lesson: People’s opinions don’t define your mission.
Keep doing what’s right, even when others laugh,;your worth comes from Allah, not from their approval.

His Duʿā — The Prayer of Regret and Hope

“قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي مَغْلُوبٌ فَانتَصِرْ”

“My Lord, I am overpowered so grant me victory.”

— (Surah Al-Qamar, 54:10)

A simple, honest duʿā from someone exhausted by years of humiliation and rejection.
It is the cry of a heart that stayed patient until it could no longer carry the burden alone.

Mental health reflection:

Being mocked, underestimated, or taken lightly can damage a person’s confidence.
It creates loneliness, self-doubt, and emotional fatigue.
Nuh’s story teaches us that it’s okay to reach a breaking point, even prophets felt overwhelmed, but healing begins when you hand the pain back to Allah.

You are not weak for feeling hurt. However, you become stronger when you don’t let that hurt stop you from pursuing your purpose.

Standing alone can be painful, but sometimes that’s how Allah raises you.

What to Learn Today

  • Don’t give up on your principles because people make fun of you.

  • When you feel mocked or misunderstood, remember Nuh, your value comes from Allah.

  • It’s okay to feel tired; just don’t disconnect from your mission.

  • Victory often comes after long patience, not immediate results.
