Currently accepting clients in Ontario

  • My name is Awaiz Artani, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the CRPO. I’ve worked in various settings, including rehabilitation clinics supporting clients with psychotic symptoms due to substance use. I believe that every mind has a unique key, and my role is to help clients unlock their potential through a culturally aware and faith-sensitive approach. I’m passionate about working with immigrants, especially those from the South Asian community, as they navigate resettlement, identity, and mental health challenges.

  • I offer a faith-sensitive, client-centered approach that is adapted to meet the unique cultural and emotional needs of each client. My approach includes:

    • CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

    • Trauma-Informed Therapy

    • Culturally Responsive Techniques

    • Islamic-Contextual Support (if requested)

I focus on building a strong therapeutic alliance, addressing stigma, and creating a safe, non-judgmental space for healing and change.
